Jonathan Adams is currently the Research Director at Infogix, Inc in Annapolis Maryland. Infogix is an information management company providing data management and governance software and services to support complex data management challenges in Fortune 500 organizations. Jonathan’s area of focus is in building management disciplines around analytics and regulatory compliance activities. Prior to that Jonathan worked at Booz Allen Hamilton and has over 20 years of experience in building solutions for retailers, financial organizations and federal agencies.
Jonathan has been sailing his whole life. Growing up in the Bahamas, and moving from there to Miami, offered ample opportunity to sail. His experience has included crewing on schooners and large motor yachts in the Mediterranean, and numerous other sailing boats over the years. Since moving to Annapolis in 2001, he has cruised and raced in the Alberg 30 fleet.
Participation in CRAB is a natural for Jonathan. He has a daughter with Down syndrome who has participated in family sailing for the past 12 years, and in CRAB events over the past few. This experience highlighted the value of CRAB in providing an activity that is social, therapeutic, and physical. His motivation for joining the Board of CRAB is to broaden the organization’s capabilities to cater to as many as possible whose horizons are limited by their disabilities, and to provide a social outlet that offers opportunities to engage with the broader world.
Jonathan is a graduate of Washington College with a degree in Economics, and of Georgetown University’s MBA program.
