Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB) seeks to hire part-time Event Supervisors to serve as on-site representatives during events at the Adaptive Boating Center. CRAB is seeking to hire multiple candidates who are flexible to work on weekends, can work independently, and are able to manage events professionally “the CRAB way.”
Responsibilities:
- Open and close the Adaptive Boating Center (ABC)
- Work with event staff to ensure their event runs smoothly
- Provide excellent customer service
- Monitor safety of the event
- Maintain property and building’s appearance before, during, and after the event
- Adhere to all venue policies, regulations, and local laws related to events.
- Represent CRAB in a professional manner
Qualifications:
- 20 years old or older
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Reliable
- Able to problem solve
- Experience troubleshooting A/V issues
- Prior experience in event operations or customer service preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
