Don Backe Memorial Regatta – Saturday, June 6
- Open to disabled sailors, must be able to use transfer slide to board (hoyer lift not available)
- The Race follows The Racing Rules of Sailing (SRS)
- Race CRAB Beneteau 22As on Spa Creek, launching from Annapolis Yacht Club Sailing Center
- Also seeking: CRAB Volunteer Slipper & Crew with racing experience
Special Olympics Regatta – Saturday, July 11
- Open to sailing athletes with an intellectual disability, a cognitive delay or closely related developmental disability
- Several class of boat offered, including the CRAB Beneteau 22As, AYC 420s, SSA O’Day Sailers, Hobie Cats
- Launch from multiple sites in Annapolis, including the Adaptive Boating Center, Annapolis Yacht Club, Annapolis Sailing School, and Severn Sailing Association
- Also seeking: CRAB Volunteer Skipper & Crew with racing experience
CRAB Cup – Saturday, August 16
- Open to all sailors to register and participate
- CRAB Beneteau 22As reserved for disabled sailors
- Launch from Adaptive Boating Center, Racing Course on Chesapeake Bay with 5 or 7 mile course
- Also seeking: CRAB Volunteer Skipper & Crew with racing experience for CRAB boats
