Red Dot on the Ocean - Matt Rutherford's Story

Once labeled a “youth-at-risk,” Matt Rutherford risks it all in a death-defying attempt to be the first person to sail alone and nonstop around North and South America. Professional sailors called him crazy and declared the journey “a suicide mission.” Matt undertook his incredible journey to benefit CRAB. A documentary about his journey opens soon in New York City.

CRAB Chosen as 2014 DisABILITY Honoree

CRAB is pleased to have been chosen by the Anne Arundel County Commission on Disability Issues as the 2014 DisABILITY Awareness honoree. We will be recognized by County Execeutive Laura E. Newman on Saturday, October 25th at 1:00 pm at the Westfield Annapolis Mall. Please join us.

Backe Piers Dedication - July 26

CRAB will be hosting a dedication ceremony for the newly named Donald E. Backe Accessible Boating Piers at Sandy Point State Park. The ceremony will be followed by complimentary refreshments at the Yellow Perch Pavillion at the park. Please RSVP to holly@crabsailing.org by Wednesday, July 23.

We're Coming Home on Sunday!

The renovations of our dock and pier at Sandy Point are done. They look very nice. We are happy to announce that our June SailFree will be at our home in the Sandy Point marina. Come join us for a summer sail this Sunday, the 29th and see our new facilities.
