The 10th Recovering Warrior Sailing Regatta was a success despite the overcast weather. Twenty warriors braved the elements and came out to race on April 22nd and were all smiles at the conclusion of the event. There were four CRAB boats and eight USNA boats out in the water going head-to-head for the win. Four races were completed with a finish at the dock of the National Sailing Hall of Fame. Lunch was generously sponsored by Mission BBQ and enjoyed by all. Maryland Secretary of Veterans Affairs George Owings, VADM Phil Cullom and Army BG (ret) Bob Barnes were in attendance to meet and greet the warriors made it extra special for them and the Mids who really got engaged this year. Special thanks to the Bob Woodruff Foundation, Disabled Sports USA and Club Beneteau Chesapeake Bay for their contributions to make this event happen.
